Well, last week we’ve done documenting our new 2008 Student Orientation (or what is it called? It is an event where new students are getting themselves acquainted to/get familiar with the new study environment).
Here I’m going to explain a bit more about this event before talking about the video editing. More generally, in Indonesian it is often called OPDIK, or Orientasi Pengenalan pendiDIKan, before changed recently to Program Pengenalan Kampus (PPK), loosely translated as Campus Introductory Program. In this event, the University arranges its academic staffs and lecturers to greet new students, acknowledges their arrival, and equips them with whatever is necessary to get used to the new academic environment. My words seem a bit complicated, don’t you think? Well, that’s the point, to make you feel dizzy.. or not. Hehehe
